2027 Senior State Age Rep Trials Information and registration

SENIOR STATE AGE

VENUE: Toowoomba Netball Association from (3-6 April 2027).

BUS SERVICE: WDNA is exploring the option of providing a daily bus service to Toowoomba, subject to sufficient player interest. This will be discussed further once teams have been finalised.

ACCOMMODATION: WDNA will not be staying away as a team for Senior State Age. Instead, it will be the responsibility of each player's parent/guardian or official to arrange their own accommodation if required.

FEMALE TEAMS
15s - born 2012
16s - born 2011
18s - born 2010/2009

TRIAL INFORMATION (must attend both dates):

18 OCTOBER @ HIBISCUS, 90 Klumpp Rd, Upper Mount Gravatt
           - 7.30am - 11.00am: players born 2012 (15 years)
           - 11.30am - 2.45pm: players born 2011, 2010, 2009 (16 yrs & 17-18 yrs)
26 OCTOBER @ WDNA
           - 6.30pm-9pm: all ages (15-18 years)

THINGS TO NOTE FOR TRIALS:
- Please wear a white top and black bottoms to trials.
- Bring plenty of water, snacks & a towel.
- To ensure fairness and impartiality, independent selectors will be used during trials. Their role is to assess all participants objectively, without influence from clubs or external parties.
- Trial software is used to automatically place players into their nominated positions for trial matches. Some players may receive more court time dependant on the number of nominations for certain positions.

SUCCESSFUL SELECTION IN SQUAD:
- If you are selected in a squad, players must be available to attend training & uniform fittings.
- Training will take place on a Monday evening at the WDNA courts, and will be outlined by the coach upon selection.

PLAYERS NOT REGISTERED TO WDNA IN 2026 ONLY:

Please note: Players do not need to be currently affiliated with WDNA to trial. If successfully selected, players will need to register with one of our affiliated clubs and play at WDNA during the 2027 day season.

An approximate fee per player is listed below - this does not include uniforms, bus transport or NQ/Club registration fees:
Girls Senior State Age - $900 (includes food at the courts each day)
Training Partner - $250

For players that gain successful selection in both a Senior State Age team as well as a GBNL team, a $200 discount will be applied to GBNL fees, for those that play both.
